Texas’ 87th legislative session isn’t scheduled to begin until January 12, 2021, but the state’s new pool rules already went into effect on January 1, 2021.

Texas’ new pool rules finally replace the cumbersome, antiquated, and tattered old rules which consisted of separate regulations for pools constructed prior to 1999 and for pools constructed after 1999.
